better predict sunrise and sunset on special dates called solstices and equinoxes that began and ended the seasons.  Having this knowledge helped people to know when to plant or harvest crops and prepare for the hot, cold, wet or dry months of the year.

 

For this activity, you will have a choice of two of the three activities to earn credit for this activity toward your badge. When you have completed the activities take photographs and submit them for credit.
