Astronomy: Stretch Universe Slime

Astronomers believe that the universe we know today was created by an event called the Big Bang. An event where our all the matter that makes up our universe exploded outward. While it was expanding, the material cooled and began to form stars and galaxies.

To this day, the universe is still expanding! In this activity, you will get to create your own “expanding universe”. The first step is to make your own batch of Universe Slime!
